Mangalarga Horses

The Mangalarga is essentially a working horse. It is sure footed, tough, and cooperative. It is also wiry and has phenomenal stamina. Used primarily as working horses, few Mangalargas find their way into displays, parades, or the show ring. They are used extensively for stock work on the vast ranches of Brazil. Mangalarga Horses stand about 15 hands high.
